Solstice, 2015-16

Solstice explores the notion of time and light through an installation of 46 photographs. Beginning at sunrise and concluding at sunset, the top row of one-of-a-kind prints were created over the duration of Winter Solstice, 2015. The bottom row are positives, hung up-side-down, and were created by using the prints above as paper negatives. The final installation gives way to an undulating view of light to darkness, darkness to light, an orbiting sensation of being a fixed point of perception in an ever evolving environment.
